Play Club at TVS
Thursdays, 3:30pm - 5pm
*Play Club will not be held on April 4th.
Play Club at The Village School offers kids unstructured play time, in other words, play not organized by adults. Play is core to The Village School model, and Play Club is an after-school extension of our belief in the importance of playful learning. Being a kid today is a full-time job– with eight hours of school, structured/pre-scheduled activities, and sports. This full-time schedule takes away from the most important activity a child, of any age, should be engaged in: Unstructured and self-directed play. At TVS Play Club, we are giving kids time back to just play.
Play Club is available to kids, ages 4.5-13. It is a drop-in program, where kids choose to stay and just play. A TVS staff member will be present in a “lifeguard role” to ensure that kids are safe.

The Village School is a proud partner of the Let Grow Project. Let Grow believes today’s kids are smarter and stronger than our culture gives them credit for. We are making it easy, normal and legal to give kids the independence they need to grow into capable, confident, and happy adults. When we let go we… Let Grow.
